Solar Products Overview

Wegaw's product offering for the solar industry includes high-resolution snowfall and snow height maps for production planning and site location assessment, as well as maps of cloud cover probability and terrain shadowing.

Snow Persistence Index: Index to indicate the persistence of snow within a given period of time. In the case of the image, the SPI refers to the persistence of snow between April 1st and September 1st.

Probability of Cloud Cover: Probability value [0-1] of cloud cover over a given pixel, derived from a 7 year time series of Sentinel-2 cloud cover maps.
